 I just found some 0.24.2 ebuilds on Gentoo bugzilla:

 I don't know if you guys prefer to make your own or you would rather just
 review these and then possibly put them in your own git.

 I really look forward to 0.24.2, since it'll hopefully resolve a sound
 issue, I'm having.
