Comment:

 Hmmm, this is not what I was looking for, unfortunately.  What I meant by
 "console" is the window that you started mythfrontend from.  It does seem
 to be crashing as loading the plugins for mythbrowser.  This may not be at
 all related to mythnews, and may just be a broken plugin (seems Flash is
 one that causes no end of pain).

 Does this still occur?  If so, could you try to get me another
 backtrace/logs and also any messages it spews on the window you started
 mythfrontend from...
