 After a couple of weeks running with -v none,important,database
 --nopercentage on mythcommflag, the system has been somewhat stable.  It
 still crashes about once per week.  The logs are different each time, but
 always occur during mythcommflag processing.  I plan to monkey around with
 the verbosity to see if I can get any useful information, but this is a
 heavily used system and the WAF has gotten pretty low, so I'm reluctant to
 take big chances.  It is my belief that the MYTH_PROTO error is just one
 possible symptom of an overall crash caused by something else.  I see it
 in some of the crashes, but not all.
