 I can't reproduce this with any of my machines here. My gut feeling is
 that this is a driver bug although there is every possibility I'm missing
 something.

 Can you confirm what your video hardware and driver versions are (I'm
 assuming ATI) and outline what settings you have enabled in
 Settings->Appearance->Theme/Screen Settings.

 Additionally, you may want to try alternative/latest versions of your
 driver to see if there is any improvement.
