Comment:

 This is actually quite a serious issue and shouldn't be happening.

 Can you please post the full output of mythfrontend -v playback,extra from
 a recording with the issue (you may also need to re-direct the Qt error
 messages to the mythtv log as well so we can actually see what the error
 message is related to)
