Comment:

 Bug with Ubuntu + any profile that attempts to use XvMC.  Not a myth bug,
 please see the users list for assistance, but in short, switch to a
 playback profile group such as "Slim" which does not use XvMC and you will
 avoid tripping this (Ubuntu) Bug.

 Please read the ticket howto.  Don't post to invalid tickets, get your
 help on the users list.
