 I experienced this issue as well after upgrading to 0.24-fixes on
 Mythbuntu 10.10, using an HVR-2250.

 In my case, it would say that the source was changed, however it would
 only change the channel.  In my case it seemed like my dual tuners weren't
 set up correctly, so I tried following the fixes suggested in this thread:

 Nothing I tried would work, so I ended up reverting to 0.23.1-fixes, and
 that solved my problem.
