 I don't see the point of discontinuing xvmc support.
 I've been a happy mythtv user for a long time with 1 backend, 2
 nova-t-usb2 cards, 2 frontends (two epia m10k with a minimal ubuntu
 instal).
 I consider this a bug because upgrading to 0.24 will cause my setup to be
 useless! and you're forcing me to buy new hardware... my two m10k epia
 boards are perfectly able to play non-HD mpeg2 streams to my bedroom and
 to my dining room, making me, my wife and my son happy... and that's what
 I need for now!
 sorry to bother you, but I spent a lot of time (years maybe?) to achieve
 this stuff... and not being able to upgrade to the latest myth makes me
 feel angry.
