 I had the same problem at least with 0.22. I am not sure if the problem
 still exists as I still restart the backend twice a week. I can check this
 with 0.24-fixes.

 I have two DVB-S cards (TechnoTrend S-2400) five recorders each. I tried
 to track the problem with 0.22 and noticed that the scanner stopped during
 recordings.
