Comment (by john.sturgeon@…):

 The above attachment (backtrace_frontend_waiting_for_pause.txt) was a
 backtrace that I captured when I started MythFrontend, waited until the
 OSD faded, then pressed pause.  The cursor was a spinning beach ball at
 the time I captured the backtrace.

 Then next attachment (frontend_log.txt) is the log that I got from
 mythfrontend during the issue.
