-------------------------------------+-------------------------------------
I have had a persistent problem with mythfrontend crashing during playback
while in livetv or recorded playback. This has been happening for many
months. I had been waiting to see if package updates (from rpmfusion)
would include a fix for the issue, but the problem continues. In fact, it
seems to be getting worse. It may only happen after a couple of hours,
and other times this can occur repeatedly only minutes/seconds apart
(frustrating trying to watch - resorted to running mythfrontend in while
true loop).
I have had mythfrontend running on other computers during this same time
and I have not been experiencing the the issue in either of those cases
(Fedora 14 and 16). There are differences in these cases as I do not run
mythfrontend continually and I don't run a backend on them. The crash
only seems to effect the the htpc (Fedora 14) connected to the TV and
running the backend.
I also noticed that there may be similar problems effecting mythcommflag.
I saw this while looking at the mythbackend.log. Since I started
collecting coredumps I notice that I have one for mythcommflag to, so I'll
include the backtrace for that also.

Reproducing Problem:
- Run mythfrontend
- Watch livetv or recorded programs
- Wait (happens during playback, not paused)
I've installed updates as new packages have become available, so I'm
attached a backtraces for each one.
