I withdraw my comments about the HVR-1110. It just tunes funny. This
information may be useful in tracking down the HVR-1300 issues. Where I
am, the DVB streams are between channels 21 and 31. Scanning using
HVR-1110 reveals no streams between these channels and I was therefore
aborting the scan. However, during one scan I left it unattended only to
discover the scan had completed and found DVB streams. So I ran it again
and watched it all the way.
It tuned all the way from 21 to 68 and found nothing but then appeared to
fall off the end of and found loads of streams. Creating channels.conf
with tzap reveals that the streams are indeed between 21 and 31. So its
just a quirk of the card. So the card is exonerated. This information may
halp with the diagnostics of the HVR-1300 issues.
