Comment:

 You're using VDPAU as the UI painter which is no longer supported - for
 reasons exactly like this. I should have also mentioned in r25931 that
 there are frequent colourkeying issues when using VDPAU for both the UI
 and video. Testing with trunk today shows that using VDPAU as the main UI
 painter is pretty messy.
