 This bug has been around a 1-2 weeks now. Unfortunately, I can't go back
 in versions because I currently don't have an additional test system to
 play with.

 It seems that the menus will be (usually) displayed after you force a
 complete refresh by alt-tab key combination or such.

 I'm currently running trunk version: 26358.
