 The backend selection prompt will be displayed when your
 $HOME/.mythtv/config.xml or (one or more of your) mysql.txt (files) is
 missing or contains wrong information.  Please check every single
 config.xml and mysql.txt file on your computer and verify that they are
 all correct.  If you have none, please configure one (and feel free to ask
 for help doing so on the mailing list).  After that, please let us know
 whether you still see problems.  Thanks.
