 This function does not appear to be working in 0.24 r27009. When this is
 enabled, scanning for changes in the video database does not update any
 changed metadata.

 In particular, I am cleaning up the filenames in my video database, and
 the movies appear under their old filename.

 Correct me if I am wrong, but I would assume this function would run
 "DELETE FROM videometadata;" (or similar) on the database prior to
 performing a scan. I currently have to do this manually.
