  * priority:  minor => critical
  * milestone:  0.24 => 0.25


Comment:

 I'm bumping the priority but moving this to 0.25 since no-one with an
 interest in this area of the code has the time to work on a fix for 0.24.
 This is clearly a serious bug all the same.
