Comment:

 Recategorizing based on debugging provided this morning. The "SIGNAL 1" is
 not important, it's the retransmission of any MythEvent in a loop that is
 the issue. In the past this has been caused by a backend connecting an
 event socket to itself. There could be some new cause, but whatever the
 cause it is a blocker.

 Note: I also saw a report of 100% frontend and backend CPU usage I believe
 on the users mailing list which in retrospect sounds like it could be the
 same problem.
