 your audio card only supports 48kHz out; you need the resampler.. nothing
 to do with upmixing...

 The error you are getting is an ALSA issue, nothing to do with the
 resampler.
 The issue can't have been there before, as this code was only recently
 added

 You can disable the resampler by going in the audio settings, checking
 Advanced and there override the resampler (set it to disabled)
