 I'm getting crashes since (I suspect) r24694.  Thought it was firewire,
 after some digging it definitely seems related to the backend trying to
 kick off a recording on my hdhomerun.  gdb.txt and backtrace attached.

 The backtrace seems to indicate that it's something with
 source:trunk/mythtv/programs/mythbackend/scheduler.cpp
