 The point was that the output method called VDPAU *is not* VDPAU, but a
 generic video output using what ever acceleration is available on the
 platform being used. ie, selecting VDPAU on the OS X port does not fail,
 but uses the OS X video acceleration output. It's only VDPAU on Linux, and
 calling it VDPAU as the name of the video output option is confusing to
 the user.
