 This is a good suggestion and it is very appreciated, however I noticed
 ticket #8496 when it was created, although I did not have my storage
 groups set up in the manner that he had. I reviewed some of the very
 thorough comments that Michael T Dean has made regarding how storage
 groups should be set up on the master and slave backends and I deleted my
 storage group settings and re-did them, however there was no difference in
 the result.  I have continued to try using the slave backend as I have
 seen updates to .23-fixes, but have not seen any difference.  I compile
 the code myself and have gone as far as deleting the svn directory and re-
 downloading everything to ensure I didn't have anything corrupt.  I am
 open to any suggestions as to tests I could do or logs I could provide to
 help run this down.
