 Bob Shanteau on #8077 mentioned that after changing the Playback Profile
 group, Edit Channel worked properly.  Users wanting to test should
 probably try the Slim Playback Profile group.  Or, try changing just the
 deinterlacer (from--my guess--bobdeint to something like linear or
 onefield) and see if that prevents the issue.
