 mythvideo plays a dvd but continuously eats system memory until it runs
 out and then mythfrontend crashes.  This appears to be the case with both
 the internal player and mplayer when playing a dvd within mythfrontend.
 If I were to play a dvd in mplayer outside mythfrontend, memory usage is
 normal.  I can reproduce this on amd64 and x86 on mythvideo 0.22-r22807.
 I have tested in gentoo and minimyth.  Both exhibit the problem.
