 This is odd.  While the 20312 change set does prevent the doubled length
 display, last night I had it update the length of a show incorrectly.
 This is with rev 20500 on both back and frontend machines.  We started
 watching a recording off of Fox while it still had about 20 minutes to go.
 After those 20 minutes, it appeared that the nvp->SetLength() call
 apparently updated the length to zero.  When I noticed it it was about
 four minutes after the show ended and the display showed 4:03 of 4:03 with
 both numbers increasing second by second (even though I was 24 minutes
 into the recording).  Exiting and re-entering it of course fixed this.

 I have no idea what caused that, but I'm re-installing my change above
 that comments out the nvp->SetLength() call.  Actually, I've never been
 clear as to the point of that call when switching from WatchingRecording
 to WatchingPreRecorded anyway, as the existing length at that point of
 playback is always as accurate as it's going to get anyway.
