 Does the frontend time-out (~16sec) while waiting for a stream? I've seen
 it take as much as 6-8 min (avg ~3min) for the back-end to recognise a
 h.264-stream if it is waiting for an IDR-frame. A workaround for this case
 is given in http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/changeset/19094  I'm currently
 running trunk rev 19530 with t5882_S2Api_5 and can't initiate recording of
 any S2-channel without the fore-mentioned patch.
