Log:

A few change related to debugging an issue with deleting a disconnected
slave's files from the master.

Print out some better debugging information when we can't find the recording
file.

Don't try to do a RemoteFileCheck if we're the master backend.

Don't allow the master backend to try to connect back to itself.  This can
cause event loops when BACKEND_MESSAGE events are sent.
