 I can confirm this for streaming as well.

 If mythweb is installed to $DOCROOT/mythweb you'll get errors like this
 File does not exist: /srv/httpd/htdocs/pl/stream/1027/1251270000.flv

 If mythweb is installed to $DOCROOT/ everything works as expected.
