 I ran into this problem as well. I installed the latest trunk from
 MythBuntu weekly builds and everything was working. I started watching
 LiveTV and then I hit record. I went to another channel on another tuner
 and I then decided I wanted to watch the one that was already recording. I
 went to the watch recordings screen and I experienced the same behavior as
 the remote wouldn't work and the keyboard would. I then stopped the
 recording with the keyboard after killing the frontend and the remote
 worked normally. I then went to the recording that I killed and it
 wouldn't play as it was corrupt. I then tried the process all over again
 and this time the recording wasn't corrupt so the remote worked as
 expected. I feel the corrupt recording is causing the issue.
 Unfortunately, I had to drop back to 0.21-fixes due to the WAF.
