 This is to remind me to add the infrastructure for smarter channel
 changing scripts. In particular I'd like to pass the video device, so that
 if you are using a PVR-150 blaster the correct IR blaster can be invoked
 automatically, and also send power up and power down commands so that
 external STB's can be put into power saving mode, much the way a HDHomeRun
 can be currently. Finally, I'd like to both the freqid and the channum,
 since that could be of use for things like an external firewire channel
 changer.

 This isn't a high priority task, but it has been nagging me.
