 I do have the same problem! and this is MAJOR for me...
 I've been waiting for a fix for weeks now (like 8 weeks or more).
 I installe 0.22 to get the VDPAU, but I can't watch movies anymore! I need
 to revert to 0.21 but all my database schema is already updated! too bad..

 I certainly hope for a fix on this issue soon!
