Log:

1. Efficiency gains in checkMedia(). It was calling testMedia
(open(), unlock(), ioctl(), close()), then its own open()/unlock()/ioctl()
to get the drive status again, each time round.
2. Tidyup - else after a return isn't needed, and just indents code needlessly.
