 The Channel editor in Mythtv-setup, and the channels page in mythweb don't
 show the program number (ie servicid). Schedulesdirect can't deduce
 anything until I manually insert the cable channel number. It is much
 easier to do that if I know both the frequency and program number, since
 these circulate informally in various ways (silicondust has this by zip,
 and there are various local forums and mailing lists).

 Even if I can edit this, at least the serviceid should be visible by one
 of these two interface.

 I don't think this is a scanner issue, its a display issue.
