 I am also seeing this behavior.
 NVP: prebuffering pause many times in mythfrontend log
 Tried all rendering options tried, can play recorded file in mplayer fine.
 SD jitter in picture, and sound jitter as well.
 HD Live TV is fine however.  Just a problem in SD.
 Firewire capture from DCT6200
 Nvidia 8600
