 I recently upgraded to fixes revision 19344.

 When I tried to scan my channels, mythtv-setup hung.

 Also, a recording hung and left the backend pegged at 100% CPU usage.

 The attached patch fixed the setup hang for me -- hopefully the recording
 hang also...
