Comment:

 There are a number of differences in how Xine plays back media as compared
 to Myth - Deinterlacing is a functional one, there are also possibly non-
 functional differences causing slower behavior.

 There may be improvements to this issue in trunk - Is it possible for you
 to try this?

 Can you also state which version of Myth you are having this issue with?
