 Well first off I am not the best at scripting so I did this as best as I
 was capable. What this script does is allows you to run it as a cronjob at
 whatever interval you wish. It allows for you to run it at anytime as it
 checks if recordings are active, if so it will halt for 30 mins and try
 again.

 To operate you will need the firewire_tester.

 Just modify the location of the firewire_tester and add the python script
 to crontask and your good to go.
