Comment:

 Wendy, does the frontend log contain anything that might be relevant prior
 to the segfault?

 It might also help to narrow down exactly which file is causing the
 problem, the quickest way to do that is to upgrade to the latest SVN and
 run with "-v file".

 Lastly what is the output of "taglib-config --version"?
