 FYI - I've already tried using the Program Guide from the Scheduling menu
 (without this patch) and it is pretty speedy.  Also, when switching
 interlace methods from BOB to (I think) Linear Blend, I didn't see the
 slow-down.  It could simply be that BOB requires more CPU than the other
 methods and I'm right on the edge.
