New description:

 Per Danielk I'm creating this ticket and attaching a copy of the output of
 mythtv -v playback   for one of the files I have which when played with
 the xv-blit renderer  have a line of green pixels overlayed at the very
 bottom of the video.

 Both videos showing the line have a height of 304 pixels, and it shows up
 in all X resolutions I've tried.
