 One more comment: In French, three of the 12 months of the year have
 accents in the short date: February (février/fév), August (Août/aoû) and
 December (décembre/déc).

 I've been running MythTV for the last 2.5 years and it's the first time it
 happens. Could it be related to the changes made to mythfilldatabase made
 when we switched from DD to SD, back in September?
