 This makes the transition smoother.  However, when watching 16:9 content
 on a 4:3 display the osd resizes from 4:3 to 16:9.  It would probably be
 better if the osd continued to fill the whole screen.  I'll see if I can
 whip up a modified patch sometime next week.
