 I've just tested patch v3 - by hammering ffwd/rewind/play/pause for about
 five minutes during playback, and couldn't reproduce the problem. So I
 think this patch is good to go :)

 Note, I only tested it on 0.20-fixes, as I do not have an svn-trunk setup
 (if it's possible to commit this to both branches, I'd be grateful).
