 When the first character of a show title/description is non-ASCII then the
 text encoding is misinterpreted and not converted correctly. The reason is
 comparing signed char with an unsigned constant in the file
 libs/libmythtv/mpeg/dvbdescriptors.cpp. I can post suggested repaired
 file.
