 Running mythtv-0.20_p13110 on gentoo and still not seeing this working.
 Recreated as:

 1) Start be/fe with dvd in the drive
 2) use mythtv to eject the disc then close the tray
 3) attempt to open the tray with mythtv

 I'll try to capture some logs later tonight.
