 I've been thinking some more about what's happening here.  The transportid
 comes from the cable company (correct?), but for some reason the mplexid
 for the channels detected for a given transport is getting set to another
 transport.  Subsequently "fixing" the frequency for the mplexid leaves the
 the wrong transportid, while this doesn't affect the reception of the
 channel, the scanner ends up correcting the frequency according to the
 transport detection.
