 On Ubuntu Feisty:
 libtag1-dev is already the newest version.
 libtag1c2a is already the newest version.
 libmad0-dev is already the newest version.
 libmad0 is already the newest version.

 None of these packages are installed on my master backend, just the
 frontend.  Everything compiled just fine.

 One other piece of information to expand upon.  My entire music library is
 stored remotely on my window's box and is mounted via cifs.  However, this
 is how I've always had it for the last several years as well with now
 issues (with the same library).
