Comment:

 I can't reproduce this, I changed the name of a few mp3s to "01 ~ Artist -
 Title.mp3" and they were found just fine.

 Is there anything shown in the log during scanning? Do these mp3s have id3
 tags? Do the filenames contain any non-ascii characters?
