 Several menu strings aren't encoded to utf-8.  For example, see
 mythtv/themes/classic/main_settings.xml, line 18.
 Apparently is encoded as ISO8859-1 (seems to be "Ogólne").
 Editing the affected menu files becomes quite cumbersome, because the
 editor tries to convert the invalid strings to utf-8, changing them.
 Then the resulting patch file must be edit manually to remove the
 extraneous modifications.
