 According to powertop, mythwelcome wakes up over 100 times/second.

 Reducing this (presumable) polling in mythwelcome would improve
 performance of other tasks on that system as well as reduce power
 consumption - if mythwelcome is running, the system is likely not doing
 anything a good portion of the time.
